The 34th annual fundraiser, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, sponsored by the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden was held April 20th at the Dallas Arboretum. In typical Texas form, guests went big as they strutted in with their stilettos and “Dallas” themed hats. Money raised at the event, assists with the maintenance of A Woman’s Garden, one of the most loved gardens at the Dallas Arboretum.

The event began with a champagne reception and hat judging contest. It was a feast for the eyes, as multiple judges, chose their favorite hats for various categories and awards were announced. A tea and a fashion show with fashions from Tootsies and produced by Jan Strimple.

Guests travel from all over the United States, to don their over-the-top hats and to enjoy the springtime flowers that grace the Dallas Arboretum.
